Wasis Diop est un artiste rare. Il revient aujourd\\’hui avec un nouvel album \u00e9l\u00e9gant et po\u00e9tique enregistr\u00e9 en fran\u00e7ais. Un disque intitul\u00e9 \u2018\u2019De la glace dans la gazelle\u2019\u2019 et o\u00f9 chaque mot est m\u00e9ticuleusement choisi entre sens et musicalit\u00e9.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auteur-compositeur et interpr\u00e8te rare et m\u00e9ticuleux, Wasis Diop partage son temps de cr\u00e9ation entre musiques pour le cin\u00e9ma et chansons ourl\u00e9es. En 2014, \u2018\u2019S\u00e9quences\u2019\u2019<\/em>, collectait une partie de son travail pour le 7\u00e8me art, mais depuis \u2018\u2019Judu Bek\u2019\u2019 <\/em>en 2008, ses pr\u00e9cieuses confidences vocales ne se conjuguaient plus au pr\u00e9sent. De la Glace dans la Gazelle vient rompre ce long silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\\\"\\\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sa voix est belle, chaude et rocailleuse. Elle nous fait go\u00fbter la po\u00e9sie, le pouvoir \u00e9vocateur de la force des mots qu\u2019il pose avec d\u00e9licatesse sur un \u00e9crin musical qu\u2019il compose, pour le cin\u00e9ma et pour ses propres albums, aussi singuliers que rares. Wasis Diop nous a habitu\u00e9s \u00e0 sortir des sentiers battus. Il s\u2019est impr\u00e9gn\u00e9 des musiques du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal et d\u2019ailleurs, du Japon \u00e0 la Jama\u00efque, a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 des documentaires, jou\u00e9 et compos\u00e9 pour le cin\u00e9ma. Il revient aujourd\u2019hui avec un nouvel album au titre insolite et po\u00e9tique, \u2018\u2019De la glace dans la gazelle<\/em>\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018\u2019De la Glace dans la Gazelle\u2019\u2019 <\/em>est aussi l\u2019occasion de r\u00e9unir un p\u00e8re et sa fille, Mati Diop, r\u00e9alisatrice prodige, dont le long m\u00e9trage \u2018\u2019Atlantique<\/em> \u2018\u2019a re\u00e7u le Grand prix du festival de Cannes en 2019 et qui signe le clip de \u2018\u2019Voyage \u00e0 Paris<\/em>\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
