Young Ace Way\u00e9, originaire de la R\u00e9publique du Congo (Congo-Brazzaville) vient d\\’\u00eatre nomm\u00e9 laur\u00e9at du Prix RFI D\u00e9couvertes 2020. Lors des d\u00e9lib\u00e9rations, le jury pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 par le rappeur ivoirien Didi B a d\u00fb choisir parmi les 10 finalistes. L\\’artiste congolais est ainsi arriv\u00e9 devant la chanteuse gabonaise Shan\\’L et le collectif tchadien D6Bel. Le vote du public a par ailleurs pl\u00e9biscit\u00e9 Shan\\’L. Une \u00e9dition marqu\u00e9e par la remarquable cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 des musiques urbaines.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young Ace Way\u00e9 est un artiste rappeur\/chanteur de nationalit\u00e9 congolaise. D\u00e8s son plus jeune \u00e2ge il rencontre l\u2019art, s\u2019int\u00e9resse au dessin puis au th\u00e9\u00e2tre. Mais c\u2019est de la musique dont il tombe amoureux. Sonorit\u00e9s enrichies par ses diverses exp\u00e9riences d\u2019expatri\u00e9, la musique du MC ne manque certainement pas de couleurs. C\u2019est au sein de son groupe Bones Clique, compos\u00e9 de Snom, Slmsi, GRC, et B-Tween qu\u2019il fait ses premiers pas et \u00e9crit ses premi\u00e8res chansons. Il sort en 2014 la mixtape The Bone Theory<\/em> avec Bones Clique puis son EP Dear Uncle Sam la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il devient professionnel en 2015 et d\u00e9cide de commencer une carri\u00e8re solo. Co-propri\u00e9taire de Mercure Studios, il sort en 2016 Ombres & Lumi\u00e8res : Le Pr\u00e9lude<\/em> aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s d\u2019artistes tels que Boa Mokonzi, Skrappy, Sledge et Darcy sous le label Mercure Squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laur\u00e9at des Beat Street Awards 2016 dans la cat\u00e9gorie R\u00e9v\u00e9lation masculine, il sort en juillet de l\u2019ann\u00e9e suivante une mixtape intitul\u00e9e Kontrol<\/em> avec laquelle il remporte le prix Beat Street Awards dans la cat\u00e9gorie Mixtape urbaine 2017. Il sort en mars 2018 le single Mama <\/em>en collaboration avec Durhiel pour honorer la femme, en mai le single Rombo<\/em> avec Jojo Fly et en ao\u00fbt le R2R<\/em> avec Trancend Boy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s la sortie du single Le Bord La<\/em> en novembre 2018, il continue son \u0153uvre en sortant le 30 avril 2019 (jour de son anniversaire) un EP intitul\u00e9 Alpha Charlie Echo<\/em>, un projet riche en couleur qui convainc toute la sph\u00e8re musicale du pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Son dernier single Mbok\u2019Oyo<\/em> (titre relatant les faits sociaux) sorti en d\u00e9cembre 2019 qui est extrait de son prochain EP (nouveau projet disponible tr\u00e8s bient\u00f4t) est un vrai succ\u00e8s. Valeur s\u00fbre du rap congolais, Young Ace Way\u00e9 connait un buzz grandissant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
