L\u2019institut fran\u00e7ais de C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire (IFCI) d\u00e9marre sa saison cin\u00e9ma. Ce mardi 10 novembre 2020, l\u2019ex-CCF au Plateau pr\u00e9sente le film \u00ab\u00a0Miss\u00a0\u00bb de Ruben Alves \u00e0 19h et le samedi 14 \u00e0 14h. Projecteur sur l\u2019histoire \u00e9mouvante et palpitante d\u2019un gar\u00e7on qui r\u00eavait de devenir Miss.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

C\u2019est le lundi 9 novembre 2020 au cin\u00e9ma Majestic Prima \u00e0 Marcory que les journalistes ont vu en exclusivit\u00e9 le dernier film de Ruben Alves. C\u2019est l\u2019histoire \u00e9mouvante et palpitante d\u2019un gar\u00e7onnet pr\u00e9nomm\u00e9 Alex dont le r\u00eave est de devenir Miss France. Interrog\u00e9 par visioconf\u00e9rence, le r\u00e9alisateur franco-portugais a expliqu\u00e9 les raisons qui l\u2019ont pouss\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser ce long m\u00e9trage. \u00ab Dans chaque \u00eatre, se trouve un double personnage masculin et f\u00e9minin. Dans \u00ab Miss \u00bb, Alex a envie de vivre sa part de f\u00e9minit\u00e9 m\u00eame s\u2019il n\u2019a pas envie d\u2019\u00eatre femme<\/em><\/strong> \u00bb, dit Ruben Alves et de poursuivre : \u00ab Tout est parti en discutant avec Alex. Pendant l\u2019\u00e9criture, je lui ai demand\u00e9 quelle \u00e9tait selon lui la quintessence de la f\u00e9minit\u00e9. \u00ab Marianne \u00bb m\u2019a-t-il r\u00e9pondu. Je lui ai alors dit : \u00ab Et pourquoi pas Miss France ? \u00bb. Il a ri et ce qui n\u2019\u00e9tait \u00e0 l\u2019origine qu\u2019une blague est devenu le point de d\u00e9part du film : l\u2019histoire d\u2019un gar\u00e7on qui r\u00eave de devenir miss<\/em><\/strong> \u00bb. Tout est parti d\u2019une histoire r\u00e9elle. Celle d\u2019Alexandre Wetter qui joue son propre r\u00f4le. C\u2019est son premier film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alexandre est mannequin dans la vie active. \u00ab Il \u00e9tait habitu\u00e9 \u00e0 performer en femme sur les podiums de d\u00e9fil\u00e9s<\/em><\/strong> \u00bb, souligne Alves. Pour int\u00e9grer le personnage dans le corps d\u2019Alex, le r\u00e9alisateur l\u2019a coach\u00e9. Il y a eu au moins deux mois de pr\u00e9paration intensive o\u00f9 le h\u00e9ros du film a perdu la masse maculaire de son corps d\u2019homme. On lui a aussi rajout\u00e9 des cheveux. \u00abDans le film, il y a aussi un travesti qui est l\u2019ami et conseiller d\u2019Alex. Il m\u2019a plu de parler de ce sujet car j\u2019ai eu un ami qui est devenu femme. De cette exp\u00e9rience, je retiens qu\u2019il faut s\u2019aimer soi-m\u00eame d\u2019abord avant d\u2019\u00eatre aim\u00e9 par les autres<\/em><\/strong> \u00bb, indique le cin\u00e9aste. Alexandre Wetter est en effet androgyne. Et \u00e7a n\u2019a pas toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 facile pour lui dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. \u00ab \u00ab Miss \u00bb aborde les questions d\u2019identit\u00e9 comme peu de films le font. Au d\u00e9part, mon personnage devait \u00eatre trans mais le sujet a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 trait\u00e9, souvent en l\u2019associant \u00e0 une souffrance physique et m\u00e9dicale, \u00e0 l\u2019isolement, au harc\u00e8lement, \u00e0 la violence… Ruben voulait raconter autre chose. Aussi, quand il m\u2019a rencontr\u00e9, je crois que le curseur s\u2019est d\u00e9plac\u00e9 vers l\u2019androgynie. Laquelle lui permettait d\u2019aborder la question identitaire autrement : comment les hommes peuvent-ils assumer leur f\u00e9minit\u00e9 dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 actuelle ? Comment peut-on trouver sa place quand sa virilit\u00e9 ne correspond pas aux codes \u00e9tablis ? C\u2019est un parti pris tr\u00e8s moderne. Plus encore car Ruben regarde la femme \u00e0 travers les yeux d\u2019un homme. Et, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une galerie de portraits tr\u00e8s riche, il montre une f\u00e9minit\u00e9 plurielle qui me plait <\/em><\/strong>\u00bb, a expliqu\u00e9 Alex dans une interview. Le film Miss<\/strong> lance ainsi un message de tol\u00e9rance et d\u2019amour. Il dure 1h47.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruben Alves est un acteur, sc\u00e9nariste et r\u00e9alisateur franco-portugais. Il a 40 ans. Miss<\/strong> est son actuel long m\u00e9trage apr\u00e8s La Cage dor\u00e9e<\/strong>, une com\u00e9die franco-portugaise co\u00e9crite et r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par Ruben Alves, sortie en 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex, un petit gar\u00e7on gracieux de 9 ans qui navigue joyeusement entre les genres, a un r\u00eave : \u00eatre, un jour, \u00e9lu Miss France. 15 ans plus tard, Alex a perdu ses parents et sa confiance en lui. Il stagne dans une vie monotone. Une rencontre impr\u00e9vue va r\u00e9veiller ce r\u00eave oubli\u00e9.
