C\u2019est historique. L\u2019Union nationale des journalistes de C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire (Unjci) a \u00e9lu Marie-Laure N\u2019Goran pr\u00e9sidente ce dimanche, lors de son 12e<\/sup> Congr\u00e8s ordinaire \u00e0 la Maison de la Presse d\u2019Abidjan-Plateau.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une premi\u00e8re en 35 ans<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Journaliste et pr\u00e9sentatrice du JT de 20h sur la RTI, Marie-Laure N\u2019Goran devient la premi\u00e8re femme \u00e0 diriger l\u2019Union nationale des journalistes de C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire (Unjci) depuis sa cr\u00e9ation en 1991. Elle succ\u00e8de \u00e0 Jean-Claude Coulibaly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle a remport\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9lection avec 244 voix contre 161 pour son adversaire St\u00e9phane Bahi, de l\u2019hebdomadaire \u2018\u2019L\u2019\u00c9l\u00e9phant D\u00e9cha\u00een\u00e9\u2019\u2019. Trois bulletins blancs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les d\u00e9fis \u00e0 relever<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Son \u00e9lection arrive \u00e0 un moment cl\u00e9 pour la presse ivoirienne. Le secteur fait face \u00e0 plusieurs d\u00e9fis : le num\u00e9rique, la lutte contre la d\u00e9sinformation, les conditions de travail des journalistes et la d\u00e9fense de la libert\u00e9 de la presse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s l\u2019annonce des r\u00e9sultats, la nouvelle pr\u00e9sidente a remerci\u00e9 les congressistes : \u00ab Cette marque de confiance m\u2019honore et renforce mon engagement \u00e0 servir notre union avec responsabilit\u00e9, humilit\u00e9 et d\u00e9termination<\/em> \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beaucoup d\u2019espoirs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sa victoire suscite de l\u2019espoir dans la profession. Plusieurs congressistes estiment qu\u2019elle peut renforcer la coh\u00e9sion et poursuivre la professionnalisation du m\u00e9tier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
